Default how many link chain?

With 14/40 gearing and extended swing arm 3" how many link chain should I need? Anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Well I have stock swing with 14/4O, I use nine6 links. me keboad wont function at the moment lol missing lettes

14/40 is stock gearing.. I have the same gearing on the stock swing arm and i too am using 96 links (stock amount of links) I'd imaged that for a +3 swinger you would probably need at least another 6 or 7 links (just a guess though) I would buy 10 links and see what that does for you..

I had this idea. If I'm adding 3" to the arm then I would need a 6" longer chain. right? So I measured 6" of the chain and there is 10 links. So im guessing I'll need 106L chain. Sound good or am I way off ? How good is the did 520 atv chain. I'm guessing its good since did makes it.

Thanks. Im going to get the 110 link to be safe. Prob need to take 2-4 off tho.
