Default Mini Jump

Poor quality cell vid but here's a few test runs on a mini jump me & my buddy built while bored. It was tough to hit with a tree root right before the launch kept bumping the frontend up

Nice jump! I would say it's not that mini!
I wouldn't mind having one near me.

Here is a little tip, tap your rear brakes once in the air, it will drop the front down so you land a little more flat. This is a decent little jump to practice more advanced controls. If you want to lift the front gun it in the air, if you want to drop the front brake. Don't just slam your rear brakes on the first run, go light on it and feather it in and get the feel, you don't want to nose dive. Then you will be able to take it a little faster, a little further and then built the jump bigger. Keep practicing and before you know it, you will break a leg!

IF you're going to try that^^^ DO NOT forget to grab the clutch..if you'd like to start doing that begin with simply grabbing the clutch in the air and letting it out before you land..

Very good point, I forgot to mention that very important point. But leave the clutch out(in?) if you gun it trying to raise the front, it is all about using the momentum of your rear wheels to your advantage, but if you slow or stop the rear wheels with the clutch in it will kill the motor, which could be bad.

It would definitely be bad if you had to rise the front end again!

Hey thanks guys for the tips! I would have though slowing the rear wheels would sink the rear but im gunna try that today when I go for a fast blast. The jumps needs a little more work though I have to get rid of that tree root bumping the front end before the launch plus its a little tough with corner and its uphill hard to build up speed. I hit the jump a few times before & after this vid where I actually landed on the down take and didn't hit my rear tires on the top of the hill. i Need to be a little bit more speed coming out of that corner and then I should land on that down take no problems. I going to try those tips out today if I can get a buddy out with me I see if I can get another quick vid. Thanks Guys!

Nice little jump. I am also going to try out the tips posted. I have been doing a little jumps out at the dunes the last time I was out. The only thing is that I have been landing front end first because I've been concerned about going over backwards when I jump because the east face of the dunes are so steep since no one has really been riding them recently.

I have been practicing my jumps as well since the last little write up. I am still nervous clearing a gap and landing a face, so still only jumping singles. Been practicing with a pop can to see where I'm landing.
