The Tech Section IS NOT for basic tuning tips, it's NOT for asking questions about changing tires, and it's NOT for asking which part you think will work better on your engine. It's NOT for solutions you discovered - that stuff goes in the "Tips and Tricks" section, if you've already got it figured out.

The Tech Section is for detailed, technical problems. If you have some kind of technical problem, and you can't figure it out - AND it isn't a basic question that belongs in another section - then this place is for you.

Let's say you split your cases - DO NOT ask how to split cases in this section... Buy a damn Factory Service Manual... anyway, let's say you split them, to work on your transmission. You put it all back together, and the motor starts and runs, but now it won't shift - THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! Post your problem here. Let us know what you did, or who did it, how it was before, and how it is now. Let us know what was done or what YOU did, and we'll help you get it right.

I'm tired of seeing a bunch of bullchit in this section - look at the amount or redirect arrows in this section, moving topics to the sections they REALLY belong in. This place is cluttered with bullchit from people that either don't know it's intended purpose, or are (simply) too lazy to post their question in the right sub-forum.

Right now, from this point forward, I'll clean this section out. If I see something in here that doesn't belong, I'll move it to the right section - but I won't leave a redirect to it. You go find it, if you posted it. I won't delete a single topic that's posted here, unless I know for a fact it was posted here to provoke. They'll all get moved, but they won't get a redirect - not anymore.

Post your stuff in the right place.

I'll leave this open for 48 hours for comments - if you don't understand how this section works, then post your question in this thread, and I'll fully explain it to you. If you don't agree with what I've laid down here, and you have a comment to make on how this section is ran - then post it in the "Comments" section, and NOT in this thread.

Dayum, I never noticed it, but now that you say it

I dont catch as much of this as I should because I generally just hit the view new posts button and just look at the things that interest me or that i have something to say about...

However, when I start a topic, I always look for the forum that fits it best and that is where it goes! This section and the loft really get abused!

I'm going to give this another bump, just to draw some people's attention to it. Read it, think about what section your thread, question, or concern belongs in, and put it in the right spot.

I'm going to just delete questions/threads that don't belong in the Tech Section. Straight up delete them.
