Default China quads?

Ok, this is a Z forum, but anyone here have any experience with "china quads"? Santa brought my son a Hensim 250 atv for xmass last year, and I been having fits with it!

Its been making vibrations over 4k rpm, can't identify where its coming from?

Dude, it's chinese. You should be thankful it hasn't blown up on you yet for no apparent reason...

MIne has had a 110 for almost a year now with no problems and we bought it used. You just have to be very good about your maintenence. Is it like a pulsating vibe or just constant

They are all junk. even the new ones..........OK,OK,OK, I can see where this is going, but for a starter they are not bad. Ihave not heard anything about the big ones. I'm now looking for a name brand 90, like honda, but really want a Suzuki. That way we can customize as he grows

I'd have to say that the suspension on the BMS 110 we had was pretty darn good for what it was. Would I buy another China quad....hell no but at the time it got my son started and with some loctite and welding we kept it going pretty good. I sold it to a guy inour group and it pretty much fell apart during a ride to Oldmobile Hill and that was the end of it. Had he done all the things I told him it may still be running today.

As for the vibration.......could likely be coming from the engine. Can't imagine there parts are very precision and that crank could be wobblin all over the place.
Take off evey nut and bolt you can and loctite or lock nut them.

well, My daughter has a jcl 110, and I must say that litle thing is pretty durable! kinda like working on a chainsaw. It had issues being a battery-eater, but I fixed it (cut wire to "do-it all remote start-remote kill black box"), but this Full-size 250 is a dog and a half (not that I've ever ridden any 250, but it seems to have about 10 horse)

I'm wondering if it could be something around the starter shaft in the tranny? I checked the valve lash, and topend, all seems good. The oil was soot black and greyish when I changed it, its only got around 15 hrs on it.

All 250cc quads are dogs, except for the Raptor. I used to have one.. I'd be willing to say that it was about as fast as my stock Z was..
That and the Apex 250 (YZ250F motor put in a completely custom made quad) are the only fast 250 4 stroke quads out there

Raptor 250 can't even come close to the stock z..... It's just as much as dog as any other 250, but for a small kid, it's just fine.

Cant comment on the apex.

Have you ever ridden a raptor 250 biggs? They're pretty damn light weighing in at only 330lbs and have more HP than any other 250 (besides the apex).. I swear that thing was just as fast as my stock Z was and all I had done to it was an open air box with a uni filter, jetting, and one of those cheesy little billet exhaust tips for the stock exhaust. I would do second gear wheelies left and right on that thing
