dvx 400 wont rev

2005 dvx 400 idols fine but as soon as you hit the throttle it dies out. i have no idea why. bone stock and very low hours

do some searching. all i did was type in z400 wont rev suzuki central in google and got the link. Will not REV

It could be in your carb tho. You say its a 05' bone stock. good chance the carb has never been into and the stock filters are known for letting dirt past.

does it fall on its face and die, or does it sound like its getting rev limited electronicly?
