Default Rmz450 valves?

Any idea if they will work in our engine? As far as I've looked up the specs match up. Xceldyne lists titanium valves for the rmz450 but states they work in the drz400/ltz400. I can get wiseco titanium valves for about $100 each which is a lot cheaper than $160 each for xceldyne.

Very interesting find but I would have no idea myself. Looks like you'll have to order some and let us know With Ti valves how high are you going to go on the rev limiter?

Some more evidence to support my theory....

Notice the stem diameters listed on the z400? They are not correct. The z400 does not have a 7mm stem. Notice the over size exhaust valve....the stem is bigger? Wtf? Lol. Typo there. Here's proof the size of the z400 stem....

4.96mm = .195
4.98mm = .196

Lol...... As high as I can go! It's looking like they are all the same specs. Part numbers are different tho. I'm gonna call kibble tomorrow and see why the part numbers are different if the specs are the same.

looking at those first 2 charts you posted everything is the same except for the stem diameter. would that just be a matter of changing the valve guides?

so there is no difference but they are 60 a peice cheaper? weird. Is it just that way with the titanium valves or are the stainless ones the same?

So stainless RMZ valves are more expensive. epic fail

Looks like the intake valve will work. The exhaust valve on the rmz450 (08-09) has 31mm exhaust valves. We have 29mm. The 08-09 rmz is what they offer titanium valves for...do I'm going by that.

But what I proved is the stem diameter listed for the z400 is incorrect. It's the exact same stem diameter as the rmz. The valve guide part number is the same on both bikes. So they have to be the same. It's also listed in the last pic for the ferrea part numbers *****note***** drz400 only is listed in the ferrea chart...but they ARE FOR SURE the same as the z400 because that's what I'm running now.
