Default Idles on choke, but dies when you give it gas

I have a 2006 KFX400 stock, sat up for a year. I cleaned/drained the bowl, and all 3 jets in the bottom of the carborator. It starts and idles fine on choke, but dies out or boggs way down when more than 1/4 gas is applied? Any ideas?

Carbs still dirty. You have to really clean out the carb to get every last piece of varnish and dirt out of it, otherwise you'll be stuck in the position you are now.

Can you see through your pilot jet? Like mentioned, sounds like something is still dirty.

Fuel screw still in stock position? Jet kit?

Mine was doing the same thing, ran fine on choke but would die if taken off. Clean the crap out of your carb.

Cool

Did you drain the year old gas out of the tank or did you leave it in and still running it? If you didn't, it's the gas... If its new gas, then check the jets again, make sure the choke isn't stuck, and check the air filter
