32:1 is very common. Some will even go 40:1. 20:1 is way too much oil. Hard to blow a motor with that much oil. I ran 40:1 in my LT250Rs. Makes mixing easy, too. Pint to 5gals. Keep in mind that changing ratios effects jetting on the two smokes. So pick a ratio and stay with it. That right, thats why I ride a thumper......no jetting every ride and no mixing!!!

32:1. I've run it on all my two stroke machines and to date, I've never blown a motor and rarely foul a plug if all your diagnostics are in order. 32:1 is a fail safe mix.

I run 40:1 in all two strokes I have. 1 pint into 5 gal. Makes it easy.

Depends on the oil too, I run Amsoil Dominator in my YZ250 at 50:1
