You may also want to check over at the www.quadracerhq.com/forum. QHQ specializes in zillas so you will probably get more input over there and most of those guys know much more than I do.

* When you say the clearances were checked ... do you mean the sidewall clearances, the squish clearances or both? At .003, I assume you are referring to the sidewall clearance.

* What are you running for gas? Pump gas or race fuel?

* What are you running for premix oil and what ratio?

* Which Keihin carb do you have? Is it the 39mm PWK or the 38mm PWK AirStriker/Quadvent? I would assume the 39mm PWK (typical aftermarket zilla carb). Has the carb been modified (bored out, etc.). I have heard of several guys running the PWK 39mm carb and they are running 185 main jets. I just purchased a used 39mm PWK that was on a zilla engine and it has a 185 main jet.

* What are you running for an air filter? Stock air box and Uni filter or do you have an open air K&N filter?

* Is your power exhaust valve working and set properly?

* Which V-Force Reeds? V2s or V3s? Have you checked the reeds and are you sure they are OK?

* What spark plug are you using and what gap? Are you getting a good strong consistent spark?

* What temperature and altitude are you running at?

* Have you inspected and cleaned your carb?

Let us know. If you decide to post your question on QHQ, have this info ready.
