Default Quadzilla motor measurements

Does anyone know the width of the quadzilla 500 motors ? I have this crazy notion it would be awesome to cram one into a modern aluminum frame motorcycle chasis; but something tells me it's width would make it not possible...do tell...do tell....

Are you talking about the widest possible width? I just took the 500 engine out of my 250 chassis.

Only if you had the parts lying around and wanted to try it, otherwise just pick up a good used CR or KX500. Huge HP and all the vibration you could ever want.

yeah im Just curious if its even possible. I know the quadzilla motors can be a beast but can you imagine the look on my buddies faces when I showed up with that motor crammed into my 250 or 450 chasis ?

it can fit in a newer chassis for sure, the regular hybrid is the 500 motor in the 250 frame/roller

not sure who's bike it is, it's on the qrhq site in the hybrid section.

hybrid 250/500 and regular 250

there are quite a few hybrids, motoman on here has a 250/500 hybrid with sexy silver plastix.

that stupid idea is why half the hybrids out aren't rideable idiots stuff non counter balanced bike motors in quads and decide in the end what a dumb idea it was and usually end up sellin the things off. better off with a street bike or snowmobile motor at least you could ride it and way more HP than a kx or cr500 LOL

I've actually come up with that stupid idea too when I found a full running kx500 locally for $800 but cleared my head before bringing my wallet out and getting it.

there are plenty of those, I've seen mojave and tecate kx500s, honda trx250r cr500s and even a guy who has a blaster kx500, none of them were really that rideable, I say do it right or don't bother doing it at all...
