2 strokes dont have green stickers in cali.....only red... i get the feeling theirs more to this story than we are seeing...and kicking that thing over is a piece of cake compared to a xr600

I don't see a green (or red) sticker on the bike....?

I dunno...either way that is a sick looking quad. although looks smaller, like the 250. Could very well be the pictures though

well yeah if he bought the quad and he didnt transfer the title it would be a green sticker....just see what happens to the person who buys it and puts it in thier name...dmv flags it now immediately for a red sticker.....

I'm still not sure if I want to keep it or sell it, so I just put it up for 2500 to see if I got any bites. I got some offers for 2000 but I'm thinking I'm gonna keep it for that. I took it to Trinity Racing today to get the compression tested, and they said it was only at 100, and that thats low for this bike. Anyone know if that is low? to low to ride? and yes, it does have a 2012 green sticker. I don't know if I'd get a green or red in California once I transfer it.

Get the piston to tdc.
Let it sit for a sec for the compression to bleed down.
Then jump up on top of the kickstart and kickdown like chuck norris as you start to come down.
With my CR500 I used to have to lay it on it's side to fuel came out the over flow then do those steps and it would always light off in 1 or 2 kicks even cold. The KX500 I didn't have to do that just kick it.
Um you probably didnt know this and thats cool, but Chuck Norris dosn't kickstart bikes, the bikes start when he looks at them...
