Hard to tell if its a good deal. It may need alot of work and cost alot. Then again you may know some people or find really good deals on the things it needs. Up to you.

That being said, once a mod see this, your video will be deleted. They are really big about riding ONLY with helmets and will delete anything that shows someone not riding safely. Plus...its just common sense to ride with a helmet. Good luck in your purchase.

I would buy it for $500-$600 if I had the money. At least you know it runs.

How is it horrendously screwed up? Motor? Chassis?

545 won't have any more bores left, so if the motor is screwed, you'll be looking at having it sleeved.... what exactly is messed up? Post some pics...

It's a big bore cylinder. An after market part ya know? And he's got over 2200 in it. He's snapped the water pump shaft in the original casing Then got anoter with a blowd seal and the pee hole was jb welded so it milked the oil. It runs like tee-total crap and has ZERO power. That's just cause it needs to be tuned be someone who knows what the hell their doing (I could but ima get my uncles to tune it if we get it and their definitely tuning my 250). He's stripped out EVERY SCREW ON OR IN THE MOTOR. The paint is horrible on the motor and he even painted the inside of the cases. He got ticked off one day and kicked the cylinder with steel toes on and it took a small chunk out of the pair and a little bit of alluminum as well. I have the original plastics to that exact bike cause he got a set of black Maier plastics for it. If I could figure out how to post pictures I would. Also thank y'all for the feedback

Oh and in that 22 he put into it it was to put all new bearings and seals in the motor and it's got enough compression to hold his 250 pound self up for a few seconds.

If the chasis is in good-great shape I would buy it but only for $500. Then I would get a whole diffrent motor to put in it and replace all the other little things it may need.

Why replace the motor? Majority of the money spent on the bike was to freshen the motor up. It does need a couple odds and ends done to it and it needs to be tuned correctly but the motor is perfectly fine. (Im not trying to argue with you I'm just trying to understand where your coming from)

Maybe he's talking about the chunk out of the cylinder from kicking it?? The intake ears are known to be a weak point on these motors, especially when you start modding them... not sure how bad it is from him kicking it, but may be better off just looking for a new cylinder if that one is beyond repair.....??

Didn't you also mention that every nut and bolt on the engine was stripped? Probably another reason he recommended replacing the whole engine. If that stuff was all repaired when the engine was rebuilt then keep the engine.
