Good Day, LTZ 400

Hi guys, sorry if this has been discussed but I've been searching through these topics for quite a while..
I've got an 06 Z400

The bike just cut out on me one day

Compression is 150psi, valves clearences were done, head was sent away for checking, stator was changed, starter cluthc was changed.

The bike has spark, fuel and compression but she doesn't want to run at all. Blue spark, constant spark

Please help

So, all of that was done, then reassembled, then ran great, then suddenly died? In that order?

Doesnt really answer my question, but with all of that work being done at once, it could be any number of things.
Try starting on prime (or just get rid of that junk factory petcok and put on a Raptor660 version) to ensure an efficient supply of fuel is getting to the carb.
After that, check that the timing hasnt changed.
Of course, the usual dirty carb is always a possible culprit.

The Bike cutout while riding one day. On that same day it couldn't start with button I decided to get it kicked to start, unfortunately I broke the starter clutch bolt and that ruined the stator.

That was replaced but the original issue of not running is still an issue.

Hasn't run after all the things was replaced timing is on the mark, clearances are at spec and all was done by Suzuki mechanic as well. Woodruff key was his initial diagnosis but after changing that as well still nothing

With all of that and still no luck, Id suspect a CDI plug had a wire burned or pin pulled out, or the CDI itself took a dump. Take a really good look at the pins on the connector at the CDI. The pins may pull out just a little and lose contact.

I've checked out the cdi but visually can't see anything faulty regarding it. I'm so tiresome on this

If I do spray some directly it sounds like it just knocks. Doesn't do much difference

Okay I've checked timing a million times and I can assure you that it's in time.

Quick question,, my stator has been changed the same day the issue happened. It was changed to another stator and having looked at it now its pretty different. Would that have an effect on my spark by any chance?

They like to corrode in place. Soak it in penetrating oil overnight and you might get lucky. Otherwise, either drill it out or you might need a new carb.

Got it out, she only starts with the choke completely out now, backfire stills.

Sent away for Tuning etc for the exhaust and open box filter

Thanks to all
