Hey everyone

I’m new so if I ask something dumb bare with me. I’ve got a problem with my 2007 Ltz 400. I got it from a buddy that his kids tried to put a carb kit in. Well we all know how that turned out now I’m here. The only way they could get it to start was to pull start it So that’s why they tried carb kit still doesn’t start I haven’t tried pull starting it but as far as I can tell the carb seems right I’ve got fuel ,spark, but no backfire or anything like it’s not even attempting to run I’m lost on what to test or try next anyone have any suggestions
