The earlier one. 04-05. The yfz one rests on my shock now that I eliminated th bottom linkage too was another reason for getting it also. The different shape should get it off my shock

You talking about racing me? Lol

Edit: o, it's you...Hondareconred. Sorry to say but you wouldn't stand a chance. My bike is still going strong. I still ride it from time to time but honestly I don't think you can mess with 64rwhp and 52ftlbs of tq and 275lbs.....not to mention it now makes more than that and is even lighter than that.....but hey....if your ever in Louisiana and know a spot to hook up....id be glad to put some money on it.

If you weren't talking about me....then carry on. Lol

Btw, I saw you put some street bike engine or something on your frame. Don't matter. I've raced a few of those street bike engined hybrids. Don't stand a chance in a 300ft drag. I beat every one I lined up against. I've raced ds600's. Still no chance. Mine is set up. I'd even give you the jump. 300ft id still put $$ on it. We have some very fast bikes down here and I don't get beat by much. Let me know if your ever in this area. Be glad to show you what 525cc can do

I agree, I have seen a half dozen streetbike motored quads that have actually impressed me ever. It sounds like a great idea, but just never works out in reality. They just are not fast. With that said my idea of fast is much different than most.

Now if we ran a bit further than 300ft then he might catch me.

Same, I can count on one hand the amount of street bike swaps I've seen that are impressive, and by impressive I mean can keep up with quads with half the HP or less.

They're heavy, almost ALL of them are rarely geared correctly, and take 500ft to get into high enough RPMs to get into their high powered range. The only place they shine a little is big hills or super long drags.

Yep it's still running strong. I haven't been anywhere to ride since my wreck but I still ride it around the neighborhood and backroads. We are supposed to be going to Forrest hill next month to camp and ride. I'll throw the front brakes back on for that and call it a day. Yes I'm going to trail ride it, it's tame as can be. Lol

Well we have both big hills and long drags in Glamis.......maybe he'll do OK. I'd still put a well built 250R against it though.
