Dvx 400 09 valve adjustment

Hi guyes, i got a dvx 400, and i got problam with my start.
When i want start the atv, i cant do that without the gas, (my chock is strangle the atv).
After 2-3 min, i successful to start him, but he got a werid nosie, its not work good, i heard that.
So i give the atv for mechanic to fix him, he told me he is need to do valve adjustment and its fix the problam.
Then i give him to do that, and its reallt fix that! but...
But after 3 month, its back to this problam ! and again, he do to me again the valve adjustement and said ''dvx its like that, that is Disease''
well guyes, who can help me with this?
1) How i do the valve adjustment?? ( i am Car mechanic not atv) i try to do his with feeler gage but i cant find the screw adjustment.
2) And why its returnd ? in cars if you do one time valve adjustment its not coming back... never...

there is no screw its done with shims

If it's only been 3 months and the valve clearance is at zero again, then the valves are cupped and it's time for new valves.

94mm bbk, +4 stroker, Hot Cams, Vertex piston, FMF Power Bomb header and Power Core can, KW black diamond valves/dual springs, FCR39, K&N, Elka long-travel LT fronts and rear, Houser +3, +3/4 LT A-arms, American Star pro xs chromoly tie rods, Dyna non-programable, Tusk +3 axle.

When i replace the valves, i also need replace the shimns, and repir the head engie ?

Not always. Replacing valves doesn't always require replacing the valve seats or springs. Shimming depends on what it needs once the new valves are installed. A light lapping is usually enough to get the valve to be airtight with the seat.
