LTZ400 Ticking noise

Bought a KFX400 so a Z400 this is my first four stroke so I am excited

But want insight into this noise
You just put youtube. com and Paste this /watch?v=AEGh_6fWSEU&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2S911 VeX9XNUOp1lPRdZAcjsD4cyMYCqpKXt7i9l7o6O8J3Vr5MhmRE ts

Some say its normal but that is loud to me, My friend had a freak quad 350x bored to 400 on a 250X frame and his cam was beyond shot and it made this sound,

Its a KFX400(LTZ400) Stage 2 Hot Cams, 470 Big Bore Kit, 5MM Crank

Got your PM. Sounds loud to me. Does it go away when you rev it and get worse on deceleration? See how many clicks are left on the timing chain tensioner. If you donít have a manual, you can search how to check it. Basically, remove the center bolt and spring, then remove the tensioner. Count the number of teeth left until fully extended. If there arenít any left, itís time for a new chain.

I used D.I.D., beefy and it took a beating. But, check it first. Probably should check your valve lash too before taking it apart.

Probably not the timing chain then, but could be a guide or the valve clearance is set too big. Iíd check both anyway since youíll want to know if they are within specs. Hard to say without seeing whatís going on inside.
