Leaking gas out of the overflow tube? The float needle isnít seated. No matter how good you clean it, it seems there is always some loose dirt floating around and it gets stuck in the float needle seat and causes it to leak. The only answer is to take the float bowl off and make sure that area is clean again.

Or that needle seat tends to crack with age and needs to be replaced. Its basically an o-ring and dries up if itís old or has harsh cleaners used on it. If it looks clean but still leaks, replace the seat and the float needle.
