Post need hep jetting 04 ltz 400 please

I have a 2004 ltz400 it has a full offroad Yoshi pipe and KnN filter with skin and Proflo adapter I have the dyno jet kit but I can not get it right super new to this jeting think on 4 strokes im a 2 stroke guy switching over . right now it has a large main jet not sure what size but I road it a lil bit and it halls but but at idle the head pipe starts to glo after a bit and and I pulled the plug out to night and it is black I really need it done soon im at sea level and I just put a large amount of money and time in it and just want it done for the spring dune runs and also the woods I just did new valve do to stock ones being cupped it runnes fine just not like I want it to please help

Dynojet kits come with instructions. Read them carefully..

Stock frame... Stock wiring harness... Stock rear brake caliper and master cylinder.. that's about it for stock stuff left on bike.. $...$...$...

This forum comes with a lot of instructions. Read them carefully. That's what I did and got mine running great.

ok I read the booklet for the dynojet and it is stage 1 and 2 I have put in a 155 mj that is it . it is running good just not very responsive im running with the lid on and the snorkel cap off

The stage 2 directions say to take the lid off, right???

But in all seriousness OP check in the jetting database it should get you very close. Try a 165 main, 25 pilot 2.5 turns out or if stock pilot 3.5 turns out, needle 3rd clip from bottom. Take that lid off as well.
