Backfiring loud / cutting out

So I have a 2006 ltz400. It recently got new timing chain, guides, adjusted tensioner, adjusted valves, brand new stator, etc etc. When riding the quad I would say heavy load it would backfire really loud (like a gun shot) and die out. I have fmf powerbomb, fmf slip with black box cdi, air box lid and I think a k&n cone filter. I have changed out the China ignition coil for an oem one. Put brand new needle in the carb and changed the jet. It has good power but I’ve been stumped on what it could be. I have a raptor 660 petcock coming in (oem) no china. I did notice my diaphragm inside the carb was repaired with silicone maybe from a hole. I also have a new one of those coming. What are some things to look at, anyone else experience this and how they found and fixed there issue and what it was??? Thanks
