Chain sprocket simple answer please

Can everyone just give simple answers like your talking to someone who rides for fun. Site is hard to search too much info.. A simple list of good but affordable chains and sprockets not super detailed answer. And how can I tell if they are wore.. Last if I want to go slow a on a trail and 2nd feels like I need more gas will a 13 tooth solve this and if so does if effect maintenance in the long run

I use rocky mountain ATV to order my parts from they have damm good prices. A 13 tooth is gonna give you more low in power you will lose top end speed and the rpms will rev faster which means you will have to shift sooner. I can't remember what brand name gears and chains I'm running right now but the web site I gave you sell good parts. The teeth will start to round off curve on the ends of the teeth as they wear out. Hope this helps.

amazing

DID X Ring or nothing at all. Sometimes the cheap chains arent worth it when your adjusting your chain every ride.

DID Xring Gold chain and any steel sprockets, because I said so.

13 tooth will help you lug around slower in second, but lose top speed.

The chain is worn out when you no longer have adjustment left or you donít lube it and the links start binding, corrode, or are missing the Xrings.

Just keeping it simple.

Yep, 13 will help there. It's a 5 minute swap anyway. easy to change back.
