Dangerous!

Friday if all goes well will be my first time on a mx track with an atv. I rode the track a few times a few years ago on my 2001 YZ125 and was able to clear all the table tops, but I have never gotten decent air on a quad before. I hope all goes well and I have some good photos to share!

no. a few people did it and said that the ride is better. depending on your weight though i believe. the Z stock shock is setup for a 240lb rider and the 400ex is setup for a good bit less. i think around 160lb. so it isnt so stiff

Yeah, it is way too stiff even after making adjustments. I had my YZ125 revalved by a local shock shop here in MI called MCR Suspension back in the day and it was phenominal. I just looked up on their site and they do revalves for $140 which doesn't seem too bad. This will be my next upgrade.
