Hi, I took the bolt out of the rear of the head while the motor was running and warm, I got quite a bit of oil out of the port and I only had it out for a second or two, the oil did not come out as a steady stream though, Is that normal? more like a lower pressure unsteady flow if that makes sense. Is this normal or should it be a consistent flow. Thank You.

That bolt is there only as a method to be sure you have oil flow reaching the head. Perfectly normal since it’s only about 8-10PSI. It’s seems like they were intending to put a sensor there of something, but changed their minds.

Okay sounds good, I just got this Quad for my son and its in really nice shape, But needs basic TLC, It has a Full exhaust on it and no Air box lid but I know nothing else about it. I Seems to run good and sound good, I have had to replace or repack all the bearings. The Oil tank is stripped and I found a tiny bit of metal in the filter, I am hoping it came from the Oil tank when they re tapped it.
