I have 3 questions #1 where does the hose with the clear end go? I’ve read that it goes into the snorkel in the air box but wasn’t to sure about it and #2 what hose is the one with the 2 clips at the end could this be apart if this machine or no I got it out of a parts box I had with multiple other projects and hoses In there but I’m pretty sure it went to this machine although there’s the possibility I’m mistaken and it doesn’t go to this machine and #3 when I try to start her up the solenoid just repeatedly clicks is this a solenoid problem or a starter problem the battery is new so I’d imagine the battery isn’t the problem basically asking for just confirmation on questions 1 and 3 id appreciate any help

The hose from question 1 is just the bowl drain. It usually goes down by the swingarm or somewhere it can drain to the ground and not on top of a skid plate. Question 2 I would say if you don't see any obvious locations it came from on the Z400 its an extra from something else as it doesn't look familiar but its been a few years since mine was close to stock. And the solenoid just clicking could be the starter stuck/bad contacts or the solenoid its self. Usually you can tap on the starter with a hammer. If its stuck this will sometimes break it loose.

thank you a lot for your help I will route the bowl drain by the swing arm and I’ll put the hose away as it most likely came from another project
