One more question on the 400ex rotor swap. Is it a total bolt on besides the thickness difference? Any more mods to the 400ex rotor? My Z has the rear brake squeek bad. Functions just fine, just annoying as heck!

From what I have read here yes it is. Just open the caliper slightly till it's normal drag is accomplished on the new rotor as it was on the stock one. Good luck!! :)

I don't use the p-brake cuz its useless. But i didn't have to adjust my pads, they rubbed a tiny bit but just ride w/ them and they'll stop rubbing. It only took about 1 ride to fix it.

Nope, just back the parking brake adjuster off so the caliper will slip onto the disk then readjust the parking brake or put on a block off plate and ride.

Mine is warped now! What does the Honda rotor cost? Actually, I'm not sure if it warped or I took a pretty good hit to the stock skid plate and bent it. Either way it's warped.

Depends on which one you get. I got a Titax brand for $49 plus shipping and the Renthal was $89, these prices are from Rocky Mountain ATV.

Wow I got the rotor today! (shipping Mich. to Ohio) But still I called Mon. at 5:45 and recieved it Tues. Part looks pretty good, looks like I will be doing the install Fri. night, I'll post then.

Got the rotor and block off plate installed last night, everything came apart nicely and went back together nicely. (I love working on new quads) After further review I'm pretty positive mine didn't warp, but rather it was bent by a good hit on a PA rock last weekend. I should have my PRM skids on later this week (a bent rotor to late!) The Magnum rotor I got from Worldclass ATV is deffinetly not Stainless steel though :( I put a magnet to it and it sticks just like steel. Magnets shouldn't stick to S.S. some lower grade S.S. they kinda stick to but high grade S.S. it shouldn't really stick. So I will call and ask the m whats up?
I'll take pix when the skids are on.
