aftermarket a-arms for z-400

1673 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Z400 rider
I am looking into some +2 a-arms and suspension. I don't need the top dollar a-arms but I don't exactly want the junk ones either.

What is a good middle of the rode set to purchase?

And what are some of the things I should make sure the arms have?

What are some brands I should stay away from?

Thanks

Definately make sure you have camber adjustment. Caster is not a big deal as most people won't touch it anyways. You can't really go wrong with any kind of a-arm as they are all better than stock. Strong-arm, Lone-star, Houser, etc.. all offer good a-arms at a decent price. You can call Mark at HSD and get a package of Strong Arms and Elka shocks for a good price.
what is HSD? and what is the phone number?

Thanks
HSD stands for High Speed Dirt, you can find their contact info on the web at www.hsdracing.com
Burgard Cycle has A-Arms for the Z400 in +1 and +2 Sizes. They are available for 375.00. 717 225-6234

Check with WP, if I'm not mistaken, his sig has Timmy Boy A-Arms. Dont hold me to it, but i'm pretty sure and too lazy to go look again!
Check out Houser. Well known in GNC GNCC racing. I am using +1 with 19" long travel Elka Shocks.
