I recently bought a niche 434bbk ported and polished the head got it back together and come to find out the stock carb is pretty much shot so my question is what would be the best choice to go with on a carb and what should the main jet be around a 160 or 165 ? And do I need to mess with the pilot jet ? One other thing to the best of my knowledge would the yoshimura be the best for this quad by the way it's an 04 ltz 400/434 now

If you’re going with a stock carb, definitely up the pilot to at least a 25. A much better carb would be an FCR39 from a YFZ450. Takes some modding to do, but all the info is here if you search for it. An accelerator pump is way better than the factory vacuum-operated BSR36 and with a big bore and p/p head, the “choke point” in your engine is now the carb.
