You might have bought a junk kit. The pouring gas is because the floats aren't stopping the fuel, either incorrect level, bad or dirty float needle and seat, or the o-ring under the seat is toast.

Did you have the same issue before you rebuilt the carb?
if not recheck your work rebuilding carb or only causes can be defective needle seat& or float
You need to have a very clean work area only takes one small piece of debris to ruin your work
also take the float place in a bowl of water make sure if floats
check your oil make sure it is not fuel contaminated due to carb issue
when intake valve is open fuel can enter the cylinder washing down the rings& filling the crankcase
