Ok all I have a 2006 LT-Z400. 1 of the 4 bolts you loosen to adjust the change for lost and I replaced it. But the actual bolt you tighten or loosen to adjust the chain just spins. If I turn it to the left eventually it tightens. All 4 bolts are loose. I can't tighten my chain up. And the plate is loose enough to slide left and right. How do I open that area up to check out the bolt, or what should I do.

what that bolt does , it pushes the bearing carrier , or when unthighten- it will release pressure from carrier , and will loose chain , if all 4 bolts on top is loosen , and u cant tighten the chain ,ur chain is probebly streched....
also, after u thighten it u supposed to thighten the 4 bolts on top .

So the chain adjuster bolt snapped of but I got it out. I have the new one. Do I screw it all the way into the swing arm then put everything back together. Do I pull the rear axle back, then screw it in?
