ok, here it goes. i installed a 41 tooth rear sprocket and an AC swing arm skid plate. the deal is, there is less than a 1/4 inch of space between the scuff plate and the chain at the rear sprock. i am worried that if a rock gets thrown in there, i will ruin the sprocket. has anyone else had this problem? i could shim the plate to drop it, but i don't want to lose the clearance either. what would you do??? :fight

I just did the same thing. I used two 1/8 washers, one metal one neoprine. It worked great. I only lost minimal ground clearance and gained what I needed for the sprocket. Easy to do too.
