My wife wrecked her LTZ 250 (2007) and bent the axle and who knows whatever else on the rear end. I got a new (used) rear end now, but now I need to swap the rear ends.

My question is, how do I remove the drive shaft from the old differential? Any tricks? It has to have some sort of retaining ring or something right, it couldn't possibly just sit in there without something holding it in place, could it?
