I just bought another 2004 DVX 400 for $600. Guy I bought it from said he drove it to the end of the driveway then it quit. I did a compression test it shows 29 psi of compression. It has spark and it won’t start with gas in the cylinder. The exhaust valves feel tight. Can the exhaust valves give it that low of compression? Any help would be appreciated.

If the valves are at zero clearance, they could be leaking compression, but that’s still very low.

It was the rings! They were stuck to the Piston, freed them and now it runs great!
