at glamis this weekend, went on our morning ride, i wasn the last in a group of 3, messing around and drove off a 10 foot ledge, 2nd gear pegged, nosed it in the sand, i never saw it comming, earned a trip to brawly er, tore the ligiments on my left ancle, and seperated my right shoulder, that was a pain like I never felt before. :oops:

Hey -

Been there, done that! Hope you are feeling ok.

Believe it or not... could have been worse. We live, we learn...... I go much slower now then before.

you dont have to go slow to not get hurt....dunes are tricky, wind changes them quite a bit. the first thing to do is to scope out where yer going to ride. just going out and blasting around can be scarey.

when i lived in CA we used to go to Glamis alot with our dirtbikes....with as many trip i had been out there i still would do a check run before i opened up the throttle.

sorry to hear ya got hurt though :(

get better and get back on that quad!!!! :D

thanks for the support, just saw the doc today, bad news, out for 6 weeks, this is when it sucks to be self employed, please ride safe out there

Damn! That rally sucks slider! Hope your recovery is quick and painless!
