Crappy seat cover - looks like something some did after thought !
Not enough time to ride -- Opp's guess that's not the bikes fault !
I love this bike - it's powerfull built great & looks cool !!!

problem

foot brake spring
rear brake rotor squeak
warped wheel from factory
warped handle bars from factory
those damn float bowl machine screws

Easily bent axle(replaced)
Rear brake rotor warped from heat(replaced)
Handlebars bent easy(replaced)
Rectfier went bad(replaced under warranty)
Start button in left bar assembly keeps burning out(replaced 1st time under warranty) It's now burnt up again, not sure what to do???

4 hours... squeaky rotor.. went away.
8 hours... triple clamp bolts came loose on a ride... bars were very loose and moving up and down.. (didn't know the toolkit had a 12mm... darn!) Everyone should loc-tite them when you get a chance.

Nothing to really complain about. At all.. I love this machine.

Rear rotor squeek--Replaced it.
Grips too hard-- New Ourys feel great.
Stock air filter seals poorly-- Clamp on replacement.
Quad is now nearly perfect!!
I Love my Z !!!

Dang, I came in here to say that!

Anyway, rear brakelight spring adjustment and a squeaky rotor. F the rear brakes anyways.

Well clutch slipping and not shifting into gears right, dealer said just adjustment, it happend again and they said just an adjustment, havent had enough time to ride again to see if i will happen again, if it does, new clutch from ebc. Why did it slip in the first time, that i dont know, and i never messed with the clutch at all OR let it slip at all. they said it was the rite oil but dont know, also i let it sit for 6 hours outside, went to check oil and it checked me, shot out at me like a garden hose, they dont knwo why that happend either, lol. Thats all, so far. Good power and handleing, best....

Only problem is I hate the stock suspension........


axle bent twice, rotor bent once, factory skid plate went buh-bye, spring off of front shock broke off, bent rear sprocket, handlebars bent, plastic fenders clips breaking off......

this is why we all upgrade to bigger and better stuff....

start button crapped out
front gay fender brackets broke and hit radiator and put a hole in it
rear fender brackets both snapped off and the right one dinged up my yosh

Z Problems

1)Broke frame just above shock mounts & just above welds where upper A-arms supports meet the frame tube coming down in front of motor mounts 2)Broke top motor mount 3)F&R fender brackets 4)Cam spring tensioner bolt & 1 cam journal bolt (use a torque wrench & service manual if your gonna work on motor). 5)Bent Tie rods & Ends from tree clipping at race. Great quad though handles excellent & nice motor.

Bent bars, warped rotor, and crap for plastic!!!! The tank cover and rear cover comes apart all the time. So bad the tabs are broke off.

I had troubble with the parking break and a rear tire loosing a lot of air. I think that happend because the tire came off the rim and then re attached.
And thats it so far because I don't have time to ride it.

i take it u got mud and rocks inside ur rimm too i got a crap load of debris in my rear rims lol and yea my right rear tire always looses air....
