Hello fellow riders, i have been checking out the ltz-400. qauestions-how reliable is it? how available are the parts? maintnance costs, and what exacly is the maintance and how often you should change what. Thanks! good luck on the roads

The Z400 is very reliable. Lots of parts available for 2003 to 2008 models, Less for 2009 & up, IMO.
Regular maintenance is clean and lube chain, clean air filter when dirty, and oil changes.
Minimum change oil once a year and grease it.
Racing, dusty dunes desert, I clean the filter after every trip, and change oil after a couple of trips, normally, but may double that worry free. If the oil is getting dirty, time to change.
Wash it and look it over,check for loose wheel bearings, that's about it.
