Hi.

I have 2007 LTZ 400 and today I have changed my oil. This mistery happend with the last oil change too and it happend today again, so Im going to ask professionals. I did everything as manual says. Warm engine - change the oil from tank and engine - replace filter - add new oil (manual says its 2100ml with oil + filter change). I have added just little bit more (intentionally) - 2150ml. Started the engine, let it idle for 3 - 4 minutes, stop the engine, wait 3 mins and measure the oil level. As you can see on the photo below, oil level is almost at the bottom of the deep stick. Just to be clear, I dont screw deep stick in, just put it in the oil tank hole, put it out and chech the oil level. Also Im working in my garage and ground is almost perfectly flat. So the question is, how can I solve this mystery ? I know that too little oil is pretty big problem, but too much oil is the problem too, so how can I fix this without hurting my quad ?

Thanks for the answers.

Check 1 minute after shut off, then add the necessary oil to top it up.
