I am having trouble with the shut of valve. Last year it leaked and after being shut all winter it's stuck shut and I striped it trying to get it open. My question is can I just run a fuel line straight from the tank to the pump? I already ditched the swirl filter for an inline and really don't mind not having a fuel shutoff.

There is a way to do it but you need to run a T connector and some barb fittings. You can find it on LTR HQ

if you open up the bowl you might be able to spray some penetrating lube from the back side and loosen up the screw. Otherwise you can take off the snap ring and you might be able to pull out the entire assembly, break the screw loose, then replace the o-rings if it is leaking from the actual screw
