Ok thanks I'll try to do that and I'll let you know what happensEither a fried neutral switch (gear position sensor) or fried harness. Even if you got it running, the reverse rev limiter would probably limit you to 1,500 rpm. Check the switch with a multimeter:
While driving around the reverse light comes on, mostly in high RPM's. At first I didn't notice the light and I thought it was cutting out due to jetting, but after re jetting the same problem occurs. Also the reverse knob can be turned fully in any gear. I'm not sure if this will fix my problem. My problem is that the reverse light and natural light is on when I turn the quad on. So it thinks it's in reverse and wont start.
