What is the max bore you can get out of the Z? The Thumper 470 kit is a 97mm bore. I was wondering what the max was.

I think that must be as big as you can go, cause I think the 500 kit uses the same bore and just a longer stroke

Yes,,the FST kit is the same 97mm bore (piston) but a stroked crank. They told me that all I had to do now is send them my crank to be stroked and use there piston and I'll have a 500. :wink:

You will have a 500 with potentail for alot of reliability problems.

I think TC has a 500 kit also cause at FST they build there motors to have tons of torque and alot of reliability . If I were u dont get the 500kit from FST unless your a GNCC racer but if u want alot of power go to another engine builder.
