I would get ur shocks revalved before u ride it. These shock r really soft for mx and ur heavier than most poeple so u'll be bottoming out alot. Bottoming out is when u run out of travel in ur shocks, when it happens it usaully hurts a bit but its hurts ur quad more than u.

thx :D, how much does it cost to get them revalved? and also, i read that bikes used on mx tracks mostly should have their shocks rebuilt once a year, how much is it to have them rebuilt?

A buddy of mine once told me he got his shocks rebuilt for somewhere between $150-$170 which sounds pretty good considering he had elka shocks .Also you might want to consider wider a-arms and a wider axle maybe +2 or +3 or whatever floats your boat. But if you want go get you some elka shocks cause they perform well and buy your axle and a-arms from Lone Star Racing and don't buy from durablue cause there axle and a-arms bend very easy.

1.lonestar axecalibur +2"
2.shocks, maybe works or elka, i want to get them made for my weight..
3.exhaust (damn i wanna get an exhaust before i get shocks, but o well lol)
well actually the first thing ima do is get a K7N and a vented air box.... :D:D

i bottom out all the time on my blaster, it is time for a new quad, anyways bottoming out is when you here your shocks clunck, it means they cant compress anymore. Maybe put your shocks so that they are almost hard stiffness.

thanx

You can get ur shocks revalved from Quadshop, its like $120 and up. If ur racing mx u i think u should get a PEP ZPS rebuild, i don't know if u can do it to the fronts but u can for the back. Or u could do Elka SSD.

Durablue doesn't make A-arms, and lonestar's tend to break easier. I would get houser or Hermann a-arms. I would definetly get the LSR or RPM axles. U don't have a choice on axle size, the LSR is +2 but can be adjusted to +4 which is awesome, the RPM is adjustable too.

kewl man thanks :D, im thinkin im just going to get the shocks revalved, and get the PEP thing in the back (wow that made me look incredibly dumb "pep thing" haha)

then instead of having them rebuilt just get elka, or works shocks, but i dont thinkill need them done yearly, i prolly wont be riding constantly like MX racers do, ill just be riding every weekend or every other weekend, so im thinkin a year and a half before i get new shocks... then ill move onjto a LSR axle, and houser a-arms....

thx for all the info bro :D

I think u will know when its time to get new shocks. But for the "PEP thing"...That wouldn't be good if u only did the back. Cuz then ur front end would be high and the rear low. The back shock won't need revalving as soon cuz its fuly adjustable. But when u get front shocks u need to get ur back shocks converted to the same as fronts.

if this quad is as fast stock as they are saying ,get front shocks and a steering stabilizer first if you want to go faster. Also if you get front shocks they will be for either standerd or extende A arms so be aware that you cant get shocks then get a arms two months later and still use those expensive shocks. Atleast most of the time this is the case just check it out when ordering. Actually there are some post saying the axle is weak so that is the first must have for mx riding I suppose. And all of this is most likely after tires, rims, handlebars, etc.etc.etc. LOL Man there was a loaded ex for 4300 in the trader Im starting to wish I had jumped on that for the money now. Also if you are new to quads You wont notice that you put the steering damper on and might think you wasted your money on that, but after you race a couple of years and then have one break 10 minutes into a gncc race you will wonder how you ever rode without one!!!
