I have just jetted my KFX and I think it is almost perfect . my question is . how do you know when you need to go up or down a notch on the needle ? right now i have a 155 main a 25 pilot and the c-clip is on the third notch down . my mixture is also at 3 1/2 turns . what does the needle adjust as far as the throttle respose goes ? what are is the effect if you go up a notch compared to down ? thanx in advace guys .

The needle controls the midrange of the throttle position. If you move your clip towards the point of the needle, it'll make it the mixture richer.

If your ATV pulls mildly, dips down a bit and finally pulls hard again as you near WOT, you need to adjust your needle setting.

Basically, if your ATV drives like a car from the 70's with a turbo, your needle is out of whack. (waiting... waiting... waiting... VROOM!!!!)
