I bought a 2006 z400 at a auction without the key. It has a ton of aftermarket parts including a Yoshimura exhaust, blackbox tuner and some other parts. without the key I need to order a ignition switch but I'm hoping to find a owners and service manual so I can maybe bypass the ignition switch and see if it runs. the chain is rusty and it looks to have been sitting so I'm guessing it will need more repairs but who knows.
thanks for your help!

The Factory Service Manual is about the best you can get. There are pdf versions, but I prefer ordering the paper version for about $30 shipped.
I wouldn’t bypass the ignition, just asking for trouble. Just replace it or have a locksmith make you a key.

If you connect the red and orange wires that go to the key switch, it will start and run. If you connect the grey also, the headlights will come on.
