Went riding the other day and we were jumping a jump that we had made.
We were only jumping about 30' w/ around +/- 7' of air. Came down in a nose dive and broke my collar bone. Now I am really pi**** off. Can not ride and can not go to the gym for about 6 weeks. It was broke for 2 days before I decided to go to the doc. and have it checked out just in case. :x

let off the gas

I let off the gas while I was going up the jump. Made the back end spring up higher than the front. Tried to lean back, and gun the throttle to try to get the rear end down in the air, but I went over to far.

you might already know this, but if that happens, if you slam on the gas while in the air when you are feeling that you are starting to nose-dive it will bring the front end back up. I did this two times in one day of jumping, the first, my shins landed on the handlebars and the second I hit the gas when I felt I was doing it again and it brought it back up enough for me to land it half smoothly
