Not sure if this is the right section....I have a 2008 King Quad 400, LTF-400F. Fuel petcock doesnt seem to work any longer. New ones look to be about 130 dollars. Does anyone know if you can get a rebuild kit for this or does another model thats a little cheaper also fit. Thx in advance.

This forum is mostly geared towards Ltz400's but I'm sure many people here will have helpful info. I know in the case of the z400 many guys replace the stock petcock with a Yamaha raptor 660 petcock. This may be a viable fix for you as well, as the petcock would no longer depend on the vacuum to work. Another option is to put your petcock on "Prime" which should still work, and just switch it back to "on" when not riding it.

For $130, it better come with some serious extras! That's crazy!

I'm not familiar with the King Quad, but I imagine there's another option.

It seems there is a fix using an LT80 petcok with a longer vacuum line. Worth a shot, look here:
