The peashooter is the very last thing the exhaust comes through on the end of your silencer. Some people remove it, making a much larger hole for the exhaust to pass through. Makes the Z a little louder too, but not much.

With an aftermarket air filter (K&N or Uni) and a 140 main jet you'll see a little more power, but not much. You'd have to do some more mods to the silencer to see any real gains.

people tell me that removing the peashooter (baffle) will burn your valves and mess up your back pressure. Thats why i plan to add a white bros R4 pipe (anyone have one that can give me info on it)

What? No.. it won't. Sounds like someone was on the verge of needing a valve job, removed the pea shooter, broke down and figured that was the cause. Just like people with 100 year old clutches that switch to synth and get clutch slip and blame it on the oil. LOL... woulda happened either way, in either case. But we gotta have something to blame!
