Alls i can say is WOW. I have ridden every big name brand out there and this is the the shock to get. I have jumped gaps as far as 70-90ft and still feel a plush ride. I ride over whoops like the are tiny pebbles. I use these shocks on LSR +3 +1 a-arms.
So, if I bought some aftermarket shocks and slapped them on my Z, would they bolt up to the stock locations? Then what if I bought extended a-arms next summer, would I need new shocks again?
You would not need new shocks. If you get shocks on stock a arms they will bolt up. When you get extended arms they will still bolt up but the ride will not be good. Your best bet would be to get them revalved after you get new a arms. But the best thing is to get them at the same time like i did.
Double trouble, I wish you could ride my Z with WORKS. I think you would be happy with them and triple rates only $369. I have always said that all shocks are made of the same parts And are only as good as the guy that sets them up for you. Sandy at works has been there for 20 years and takes alot of time fining out what you need in a shock. Save some $ and buy something else for your Zsss.

Ouch.......I don't know what I'm going to get for a-arms and shocks yet, something in the middle of the road, I don't want to be jumping 80 foot triples or anything, I just want to take small jumps and be able to land on cushion of air.
