How much time should you ride to get some color on a new plug. I rejetted today and the seat of the pants feel is awesome, but I only rode for about 2 minutes and the plug only started to show some ash color on the electrode and ground strap. Do I just need to ride longer or should I read the plug after it cools down?

ive heard that "old" plugs will give an acurate reading a little quicker. I think trinity racing had some stuff on there web site about how to read a plug. Some of it I had never heard before, basically it said that the porcelin part of the plug was not what to look at for jetting, it said to look at the base of the plug just below the threads.?
