Replaced the bearins last night on my 2004 DVX400(same as 2005LTZ), and noticed when we were done, that you can see the dust seal on the brake rotor side. It looks like 1/4" of space between the rotor hub and swingarm is there.
Is this normal? I never paid attention before hand. It looks like if I push the axle to the left(sprocket way), the Brake caliper would bind up, and chain wouldn't be true.
It drives fine,my main concern is the bearing popping out. If someone could look at theirs and let me know, that would be great

^^^^ hes on the right track. did you push the seal up aganst the bearing? If im not mistaken the seal should be flush with the outside of the carrier.
