Have you cleaned, dried, and re-oiled the air filter? Blown out the spark plug area?

Make sure the spark plug weep hole will allow water to drain as well

On the side of the head, there is a hole that seems like it shouldn’t be there. It’s a drain for the spark plug area. If you poke a wire into it, you’ll hit the spark plug. It’s there to let water out so it won’t short out the plug wire and often gets clogged up with mud or sand if you do much water riding.
