So after a difficult season last year the idea was to freshen up the old girl,,, as always this turned into a complete rebuild plus extras,, lol.
pulled the engine to work on the problems that were in there,at least that was the plan.

ended up striping her back 100%,

powder coated frame, sub frame and most other parts as well
Replaced all bushes, bearings and rollers
Any bolts that weren't 100% got replaced as well
plastic bits that were worn replaced
tyres, chain,sprockets,cables also done.

Frame is now matt black with floro yellow parts, very happy so far, just waiting on new graphics,belly plate and a few little bits.

Looks Great! I like the black/yellow scheme. Always have, but I grew up with yellow Yamaha YZ's back in the stone age. It's nice working with all fresh hardware, and knowing literally everything is good to go. I try to keep mine in that kind of condition too. That's a job in itself.

nice built. super quick. awesome.. Nice to have a fresh setup for the start of the season.


I may re do mine again next winter.

If I had a heated garage I would be done mine also.
